The Seventh Commercial Law Cirle Forum of CASS Law Institute: “The Academic Seminar Reform of the Company Law against the Background the Codification of the Civil Law” was held in Beijing on April 27, 2019. The seminar was attended by over 40 experts and scholars from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Central University of Finance and Economics, Eas China University of Political Science and Law, Jilin University, Wuhan University, Zhongshan University, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Zhengzhou University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics , Southwest Henan University of Political Science and Law, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Henan University of Economics and Law, and Fujian Academy of Social Sciences. The seminar was divided into four units in which the participants carried out in-deth discussions on various topics relating to the reform of the company law against the codification of the civil law in China
