The Thirteenth China Forum of Jurists, which took “Being Guided by the New Idea, New Thought and New Strategy of Ruling the Country by Law in a Comprehensive Way, Promoting the Prosperity of Legal Research, and Advancing the Construction of the Rule of Law in China” as its theme, was held in Beijing on September 26, 2018. At the Forum, a ceremony was held for the awarding of prizes to the winners of an essay competition organized under the Forum. Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, won the second prize for his essay “The Chinese Approach to Global Governance: the Community with a Shared Future for Mankind from the Perspective of International Rule of Law”.
