The Academic Seminar on Coordinated Advancement of Ruling the Country by Law and Rule-based Party Governance was held at CASS Law Institute in Beijing on September 29, 2018. The seminar was attended by over 40 experts and scholars from various universities and research institutions through the country, including Party School of CPC Central Committee (Chinese Academy of Governance), Party History and Literature Research Institute of the CPC Central Committee, CASS, China Law Society, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Political Science and Law, Minzu University of China, Beijing Union University, National Judges Academy, Wuhan University, East ChinaUniversity of Political Science and Law, Sichuan University, Xiamen University, Fujian Normal University, Guizhou Minzu University, Binzhou Academy, and Party School of Gansu Province.

 

At the seminar, which consisted of four units, the participants gave keynote speeches and carried out discussion on various issues around such topics as general principles of coordinated advancement of ruling the country by law and rule-based Party governance, the relationship between Party regulations and state laws, current situation of and existing problem in the work of coordinated advancement of ruling the country by law and rule-based Party governance, and strengthening and improving the work of coordinated advancement of ruling the country by law and rule-based Party governance.
