Dr. Lu Chao and Dr. Zhou Hui Attend the Thirteenth China Forum of Young Legal Scholars

The Thirteenth China Forum of Young Legal Scholars, which took “The New Fengqiao Experience and Social Governance Innovation” as its theme, was held in Shanghaion July 8, 2018.

At the forum a ceremony was held for the awarding ofprizes to the winners of the Sixth Essay Contestfor “Dong Biwu Prizes for Legal Research Results of Young Scholars”. Dr. Lu Chao, an associate research fellow of the Constitution and Administrative Law Department of CASS Law Institute, and Dr. Zhou Hui, an assistant research fellow at the Cyber and Information Law Department of CASS Law Institute, attended the forum as representatives of prize winners.

Dr. Lu Chao’s paper“the Rule of Law Paradigm and Fengqiao Experience: the Tension Builtin the Reform of the Complaint Letters and VisitsSystem and Its Attenuation” won the second prize in the Essay Contest of Thirteenth China Forum of Young Legal Scholars. He gave a presentation at a sub-forum.

Dr. Zhou Hui’s book Transformation and Choice: Network Governance from the Perspective of Private Power (Peking University Press, 2016) won the second prize of in the Sixth Essay Contest for “Dong Biwu Prizes for Legal Research Results of Young Scholars”.
