On April 21-22, 2018, the Annual Conference of the Comparative Law Research Committeeof China Law Society in 2018 was held in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province.The conference, which took “reform, opening up and comparative law science in China” as its theme, was sponsored by the Comparative Law Research Committee of China Law Society and organized by the Law School of Ningbo University. It was attended by over 150 experts and scholars from various universities, research institutions and judicial organs in China, Japan and India. Over 90 papers were submitted to the conference by the participants.

The conference was divided into three sessions, in which the participants gave keynote speeches and carried out discussion on various issues around the following three topics: “basic theories of comparative law”, “comparative law and judicial reform” and “comparative law and public law reform”.

Two representatives from CASS Law Institute, Professor Tian Fu, an editor at journal Global Law Review, and Professor Ranhao, an editor at the journal China Law Review, attended the conference. Professor Tian Fu gave a speech at the first session of the conference and Professor Ran Hao gave a speech at third session of the conference.
