Professor Liao Fan Interviewed by CGTN about “South-South Human Rights Forum”

From December 7 to December 8 of 2017, the first "South-South Human Rights Forum" was held in Beijing. The two-day forum centered on the theme "Building a Community of Shared Future for Humanity: New Opportunities for South-South Human Rights Development," with more than 300 officials, scholars and representatives from over 70 countries, regions, and international organizations in attendance. On December 7, 2017, Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow and the head of Research Coordination and Foreign Cooperation Department of CASS Institute of International Law, was interviewed by the CGTN (China Global Television Network) program “China 24” on the South-South Human Rights Forum”. In the interview, Professor Liao mainly discussed the differences in human rights ideas between developing and developed countries and the guidance significance of the idea of “a Community of Shared Future for Mankind” to the “south-south cooperation”.
