The Seminar “Important Issues of Criminal Procedure from the Perspectives of Domestic Law and International Law” Held in Beijing

On November 25, 2017, the Seminar “Important Issues of Criminal Procedure from the Perspectives of Domestic Law and International Law”, was held in the conference room of CASS Institute of Law in Beijing. The seminar was organized by the Center for International Criminal Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law and attended by about 20 experts and scholars from various research institutions, universities, and judicial organs in China, including CASS, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Tianjin University, and the Supreme People’ Court. It was divided into three units, in which the participants gave speeches and carried out discussions on various issues around the following topics: “new measures of criminal investigation and their regulation”, “rules and standards on the exclusion illegal evidence in the criminal trial”, and “criminal defense and international criminal law”.
