Professor Chen Su and Professor Zhi Zhenfeng Attend the Seminar on Innovation and Development of Law Journals against the Background of New Media in Shanghai

On September 8, 2017, the Seminar on the Innovation and Development of Law Journals against the Background of New Media, organized by the Editorial Board of the law journal Legal Science, was held in East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai. The seminar was attended by the editors-in-chief or deputy editors-in-chief of a dozen prominent law journals in China, including two from CASS Law Institute: Professor Chen Su, editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Law, and Professor Zhi Zhenfeng, deputy editor-in-chief of Global Law Review. The seminar was divided into two sessions, in which the participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on various issues around the two topics of “the challenges posed by new media to the development of law journals and the responses of law journals to these challenges” and “the law journal evaluation system against the background of new media”. Professor Chen Su gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the seminar and served as a commentator of presentations at the first session of the seminar. Professor Zhi Zhenfeng gave a presentation at the second session of the seminar.
