Professor Zhou Huanhua, Professor Li Honglei and Professor Li Xia elected the Vice Chairman, Deputy Secretary and Council Member of Administrative Law Research Committee of China Law Society

On August 26-27, 2017, the annual conference of the Administrative Law Research Committee of China Law Society was held in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The conference took “the reform of state supervisory system and legislation on supervision” and “city governance and administrative law” as its themes and was attended by over 400 experts and scholars from various universities, research institutions, government and judicial organs throughout the country, including the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee, the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and China University of Political Science and Law. Before the conference, an election was held for the new Council of the Committee. Professor Zhou Hanhua, Assistant Director of CASS Law Institute, was elected a vice chairman of the Committee; Professor Li Honglei, Head of the Department of Constitutional Administration Law of CASS Law Institute, was elected an executive member of the Council of the Committee; and Professor Li Xia, a researcher of Department of Constitutional Administration Law of the CASS Law Institute, was elected a member of the Council. At the conference, which was divided into four sessions, the participants gave presentations and carried out discussions on various issues around the topic of “city governance”, “reform of state supervisory system and legislation on supervision”, and “open projects of administrative law”.
