Blue Book of Rule of Law wins the first prize for excellent annual report books in China for the sixth consecutive year

The Eighteenth National Conference on Annual Report Books in China was held in Xining City, Qinghai Province on August 4, 2017. At the conference, a list of the winners of excellent annual report books was announced. On the top of the list is the Blue Book of the Rule of Law: Annual Report on the Development of the Rule of Law in China No.14 (2016), compiled by CASS Law Institute. With a total score of 99.4, it ranks first among all annual report books in China. This is the sixth consecutive year in which the Blue Book of the Rule of Law wins the first prize of excellent annual report book in China. Meanwhile, the Annual Report on the Transparency of Procuratorial Affairs in Chin (2015): from the Perspective of disclosure of information on official websites of people’s procuratorates, also compiled by CASS Law Institute, has won the first prize for excellent annual report in China. Two other blue books compiled by CASS Law Institute—the Blue Book on the Local Rule of Law and the Blue Book on the Rule of Law in Sichuan Province— are also among “the top 100 annual report books in China in the year 2016”, with the Blue Book on the Local Rule of Law ranks the eighth among annual report book in social, political and legal fields, and the 55th among all annual report books in China and the Rule of Law in Sichuan Province ranks the 11th among local annual reports in the social field and the 44th among all annual report books in China.
