On July 15, 2017, Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow at CASS Institute of International Law, was interviewed by the program “The World Today” in China Global Television Network (CGTN), in which he expressed the his opinions on the disqualification by HK High Court of four elected legislators over invalid oaths. He explained and commented on the issue mainly from the perspectives of the significance and influence of the ruling on Hong Kong Society and Article 23 of the Basic Law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
