On the afternoon of March 8, 2017, the Fifth Session of the Twelfth National People’s Congress was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Mr. Zhang Dejiang, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, delivered the Work Report of the NPC Standing Committee. Professor Liao Fan, a research fellow at the CASS Institute of International Law, was interviewed by a China Global Television Network (CGTN) program during a live coverage of the current sessions of the NPC and CPPCC.
