The Lecture on “International and European Cooperation in Fighting International Terrorism” Held at the Center for International Criminal Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law

On November 19, 2016, the Lecture on “International and European Cooperation in Fighting International Terrorism”, organized by the Center for International Criminal Law Studies of CASS Institute of International Law, was successfully held at the conference room of the Institute. The lecture was given by Professor Andrea Caligiuri from University of Macerata, Italy. In the lecture, Professor Caligiuri analyzed the international cooperation in the fight against international terrorism from the following four perspectives: definition of “terrorism”; 2. International judicial cooperation in the fight against terrorism: the implementation of “aut dedere aut judicare”; 3. Legal practice of EU in the fight against terrorism; and 4. Anti-terrorism legislation in Italy. After the lecture, Professor Caligiuri answered the questions raised by and exchange views with the participants of the lecture.
