Three Scholars of CASS Law Institute Win “Qian Duansheng Prizes for Research in Law”

Recently, the winners of the Seventh “Qian Duansheng Prizes for Research in Law” were decided up and announced by the Qian Duansheng Prizes Award Committee under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. A total of 55 prizes have been awarded, including one first prize, 14 second prizes, 22 third prizes and 18 award nominations. Among the winners of the prizes, three are from CASS Law Institute: Professor Gao Hancheng won the second prize for his paper “Textual Research on the Endorsements on the Draft Criminal Code of Qing Dynasty”(Chinese Journal of Law 1 (2015)); Professor Hu Changming won the third prize for his monograph “Influence of Social Structure on Judge’s Adjudication: Taking 1060 Criminal Judgments as Samples” (Social Sciences Academic Press, December 2015); and Professor Zhai Guoqiang’s won the prize nomination for his paper “The Dual-Track System of Constitutional Enforcement in China” (Chinese Journal of Law 3 (2014)).
