On the morning of June 16, 2017, the Expert Penal on the Legislative Review of the Energy Law, organized by the National Energy Administration, was successfully held in Beijing. The Penal was attended by scholars and experts from various research institutions and universities in Beijing, including CASS, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, Central University of Finance and Economics, China Energy Research Society, and China Center for International Economic Exchanges. At the penal, the participants carried out in-depth discussions around and put forward their suggestions on the revision of the Draft Energy Law of the People’s Republic of China. Professor Xi Yuemin, Head of the Economic Law Department of the CASS Law Institute and Deputy Dean of the Law Faculty of CASS Graduate School, attended the penal at the invitation of the Administration.
