On the morning of November 8, 2016, the Dean of the Law Faculty of Helsinki University, Professor Kimmo Nuotio, visited CASS law institute and held a meeting with Professor Li Lin, Director of the Institute. During the meeting, Director Li extended warm welcome to Professor Nuotio, reviewed with him the academic exchanges between CASS Law Institute and the Law Faculty of Helsinki University, and expressed the wish to further deepen the cooperation between the two institutions. He put forward concrete suggestions on the further deepening of the cooperation from the perspectives of increasing partners of cooperation, expanding the scope of cooperation, and innovating the method of cooperation, and stressed the need to further improve the quality of cooperation and expand the impact of the cooperation. Professor Nuotio gave positive responses to Director Li’s proposals. He pointed out that the Law Faculty of Helsinki University has attached high importance to the cooperation with CASS Law Institute, and has been continuously deepening the cooperation by organizing joint seminars and strengthening the exchange of personnel. Also attending the meeting were Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of CASS Law Institute, and Professor Xie Zengyi, Head of the Department of Research Coordination and Foreign Cooperation of CASS Law Institute.
