On the afternoon of October 8, 2016, a three-member delegation from University of Montreal of Canada, headed by Professor Guy Lefebvre, Vice President of the University, visited CASS Law Institute and held a meeting with Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of the Institute. During the meeting, Professor Mo reviewed the fruitful results from the exchange and cooperation between the CASS Law Institute and University of Montreal, especially the cooperation in the exchange of researchers and students, and expressed the hope to further increase the depth and breadth of the cooperation within the existing framework, including to establish a Chinese Law Research Center in Montreal University. Professor Lefebvre thanked the CASS Law Institute for recommending excellent students to University of Montreal for further education, gave positive responses to Professor Mo’s suggestions, and put forward some concrete suggestions on the cooperation. Other two members of the delegation were Ms. Catherine Agnes De Sainte Marie, an assistant to the president of the university, and Professor Jiao Jie. At the meeting, Professor Chen Xinxin, Associate Professor Chen Genfa, and Professor Chen Yongsheng also expressed their views on the cooperation mechanism between CASS Law Institute and University of Montreal.
