Dr. Zhai Guoqiang and Dr. Ma Ke of CASS Law Institute Win Nomination for Dong Biwu Prize for Excellent Academic Achievements of Young Legal Scholars

Recently, two scholars of CASS Law Institute have won the nomination for Dong Biwu Prize for Excellent Academic Achievements of Young Legal Scholars: Dr. Zhai Guoqiang for his paper “Dual-Track System of Constitutional Enforcement in China” (published in: Chinese Journal of Law, 3 (2014)) and Dr. Ma Ke for his monograph “Objects of Legal Relationship of Criminal Procedure (Beijing: China Local Records Publishing, 2014). Dong Biwu Prize for Excellent Academic Achievements of Young Legal Scholars is sponsored by China Law Society (CLS) and Dong Biwu Legal Thought Research Committee of CLS and awarded to young legal scholars and legal professionals under the age of 40 for their legal research results formally published within three years before the selection. It emphasizes the research on Chinese issues and the linkage between theory and practice and is aimed at encouraging young legal scholars and practitioners to carry forward and further develop Dong Biwu’s legal thought, and promote the research on and practice of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics and the innovation and perfection of the mechanisms for the cultivation of young legal scholars in China.
