On January 6, 2016, CASS Law Institute, Shenzhen Lawyer’s Association, and China Social Science Press jointly held a launching ceremony of the book “National Think Tank Report: Assessment Report on Basic Solutions to the Difficulties in the Enforcement of Judgment: the Example of People’s Intermediate People’s Court of Shenzhen Municipality”. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Chen Su, Secretary of Joint Party Committee of CASS Law Institute and CASS Institute of International Law. Mr. Liu Guixiang, Member of the Adjudicative Committee and Director of Enforcement Bureau of the Supreme People’s Court, Professor Li Peilin, Vice President of CASS, Professor Li Lin, Director of CASS Law Institute, Mr. Zhao Jianying, President of China Social Sciences Press, and Mr. Gao Shu, Chairman of Shenzhen Lawyer’s Association, each gave a speech at the ceremony. In his speech, Mr. Hu Zhiguang, Director of the Enforcement Bureau of People’s Intermediate People’s Court of Shenzhen Municipality, gave an introduction to the measures taken by his court for the basic solution of the difficulties in the enforcement of court judgments and looked at the prospect of ultimate solutions to the problem. Professor Tian He, Head of the Department of Survey and Studies of National Situation of Rule of Law and Editor-in-Chief of the Blue Book on the Rule of Law in China, announced the result of assessment from the perspectives of the background, method, result of assessment, and the corresponding countermeasures. The ceremony was attended by leaders, representatives, scholars and experts from dozens of government agencies, research institutions, and universities and was covered by many Chinese mass media, such as people.com.cn and sina.com.
