In the morning of November 5, 2015, Professor Antero Jyränki of Turku University visited CASS Law Institute and held a meeting with Professor Mo Jihong, Deputy Director of the Institute. During the meeting, Professor Mo gave Professor Jyränki an introduction to the historical development and main functions of CASS Law Institute and reviewed the academic exchanges and co-operations carried out between CASS Law Institute and various Finnish universities and research institutions. After the meeting, Professor Jyränki gave a lecture at the CASS Law Institute, in which he gave an introduction to the historical development and main characteristics of the Finnish Constitution, analyzed the impact of Finland’s EU membership on the implementation of the Finish Constitution and the constitutional reform carried out by Finland in order to adapt to this change of status, and discussed the potential impact of such super-national organizations as EU on the exercise of power by sovereign states.
