The High-end Academic Seminar on Nuremberg and Tokyo Trials and War Crimes, organized by the Center for International Criminal Law Studies of CAS Institute of International Law, was held in Beijing on August 29, 2015, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the World Anti-Fascist War and the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japan. The seminar was divided into four units: “keynote speeches”, “substantive law issues of war crime”, “procedural law issues of war crime”, and “concluding remarks”. A number of scholars and experts from CASS, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, China University of Political Science and Law, China Youth College for Political Sciences, and other universities and research institutions in China attended the seminar and carried out in-depth discussions and exchanged research results on various issues relating to the theme of the seminar.
