On August 27, 201, a delegation from CASS Law Institute, headed by Director Li Lin, visited the Law School of New York University and held a meeting with Professor Jerome A. Cohen, Co-director of US-Asia Law Institute, Professor Ira Belkin, Executive Director of the Institute, and other members of the Institute. At the meeting, Professor Belkin welcomed the Chinese delegation on behalf of the Institute and gave the members of the delegation a brief introduction of his institute. Professor Li thanked the Professor Belkin and the Law School of New York University for the warm reception. Both host and gusts expressed the wish to continue the cooperation and exchange between the two institutes. After the meeting, Professor Li Lin gave a lecture entitled “An Overview of the New Round of Judicial Reform in China”, in which he gave a detailed introduction to the historical development, basic ideas, objectives, main content, and concrete measures of the new round of judicial reform in China. Other two members of the delegation were Professor Xie Zengyi, Head of Research Administration and Foreign Affairs Department of CASS Law Institute, and Professor Zhai Guoqiang, an associate research fellow of CASS Law Institute.
