Xie Zengyi, Labor Law in China: Reform and Improvements, Beijing: Social Sciences Academic Press, 2015

This book is a monographic study on basic theories and institutions of labor law. Adhering to the direction of the reform and being problem-oriented, it strives to be small and concise, rather than large and all inclusive, in its content. By comparing the relevant Chinese and foreign systems and linking theory with practice, it points to the direction of the reform of labor law and puts forward concrete measures for the improvement of the law in China. The book covers all important issues of labor law and aims to explore the correct ideas and institutions. By basing itself on the institution and practice in China, it analyzes the evolution of the labor law system and examines the situation of implementation of the labor law in China; and by having the whole world in view, it endeavors to draw on the useful theories and experiences in other countries through comparative study. The reform suggestions put forward in this book will play a positive role in improving the labor law system in China.
